Writing this review felt like the most creative assignment. Having an out-of-classroom experience and bringing it into my work was unlike anything else we did. Working in a new genre taught me a lot, and visiting GiGi’s Italian restaurant; gathering images, ideas, and opinions, helped me create a piece I was genuinely satisfied with. I would recommend studying the proper framework of a review, since it’s very different from other assignments in the course and can be challenging to organize into short, concise paragraphs.
